about

The artist currently known as BK James has been part of many bands, but his first ever musical endeavor was this album. BK originally starting rapping under the name White Chocolate in 2002 and established a reputation as a fearsome freestyler. But it was not until three years later that he began recording his raps. By that time he had established The Chocolate Factory, a backing band. They began recording an album, which would come to be called Fudge U, on September 30th, 2005. Additional sessions followed October 5th and 7th and the group began selling copies for $5 shortly thereafter.

This deluxe edition contains their debut album, Fudge U, presented in full, including the controversial diss track "Nick the Slick Dick" which was left off some later pressings of the (now extremely rare) CD edition. Also included are three previously unreleased bonus tracks from an earlier session that did not have the full band. There is a Kelly Clarkson cover and the earliest known recording of White Chocolate performing his namesake song. All together, this collection contains the entire recorded output of The Chocolate Factory.
