Pathetic Little Dog was a very short lived band, playing a handful of small shows and releasing only three albums between late 2013 and early 2014. But while PLD did not stay together long, their impact is still felt today.

Pathetic Little Dog was formed by BK James and Mario Baez after their previous band, Temporary Things, came to its inevitable end. That band was never meant to last long, as the name implied, and after their drummer, Chris Sasso, was arrested for robbing and burning down a church, Mario and BK decided to forgo a drummer for Pathetic Little Dog. They recruited Tom Wolfe on bass, who had previously played bass on the last Temporary Things session. They also brought in a new face, Noah Scheer, who would go on to co-found 3 Penis Productions with BK James and Dylan Rice.

In fact, while Pathetic Little Dog broke up before 3 Penis Productions was founded, PLD's very last jam session was the very first time all three 3 Penis Productions founders performed music together. One track from that session, a lengthy version of Conflicts, serves as the title track for the compilation, Conflicts: The Best of PLD, which is available now on Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, and many more.

This collection features a variety of recordings from throughout Pathetic Little Dog's brief career, including newly unearthed versions of PLD favorites, behind-the-scenes audio offering a rare peek into the band's unique process, a couple live performances, as well as previously unreleased selections from the band's 2016 reunion session. No PLD collection is complete without this compilation, with treats for old fans and newbies alike!
